Tora's Op./Nouvelles de Tora

He thoroughly cleaned and disinfected of course, cut away the dead bits, put in a drain and drew together the skin where possible. he gave him an antibiotic injection, and some pills to start giving him on Wednesday, and I have to take him back on Friday to have the drain taken out. Finally, he put on a dressing and a collar, to stop him scratching at the dressing. I took photos at all stages of the operation. If anyone wants to see them, please leave a comment under this photo. We'll have some idea on Friday as to how much of a scar it's going to leave.
Tora is now resting, still out of it, on my bed, and I'll be going back in a minute to check on him and turn him over.

Poor Tora, what a beautiful cat, I hope he recoers well, and there's no permanent scaring.
Thank you. The vet thinks he'll be fine, as far as his health is concerned. The only question is, whether he will ever be able to go to shows again. It depends on how obvious the scar is going to be. In any case, his well-being is the main thing, and he's going to be devotedly nursed and spoiled rotten of course!
